Felicia Adeyoyin was a Nigerian academic and author, best known for composing the country's national pledge. Inspired by her children's experiences reciting pledges in schools abroad, she wrote Loyalty to the Nation, Pledge in 1976, an article published in the Daily Times newspaper. Her words caught the attention of Head of State General Olusegun Obasanjo, who adapted them into Nigeria's official national pledge.

In recognition of her contributions, she was awarded the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) in 2005.
