Hadiza Lantana Oboh was the first and only female pilot for Nigeria Airways, a distinction that placed her among the country’s aviation pioneers. She began her career with a private airline before joining Nigeria Airways as a Flight Officer on the Boeing 737-200, demonstrating technical skill and determination in a field with few women.
Her presence in the cockpit challenged perceptions and expanded possibilities for women in aviation. By excelling in an industry where they were scarcely represented, she encouraged a new generation to pursue careers beyond traditional expectations.
