Serifatu Oladunni Oduguwa, known as Queen Oladunni Decency, was a pioneering figure in Nigerian Jùjú music. She made history as the first woman guitarist in Nigeria, a remarkable feat in an era dominated by men.

At just 17, she formed Her Majesty Queen Oladunni Decency and Her Unity Orchestra, leading her band to national recognition. Her mastery of the guitar, commanding stage presence, and distinct voice set her apart. More than a performer, she was a leader who infused her music with intricate guitar work and rich melodies that resonated widely.

Oduguwa held her own among Jùjú legends, earning admiration for her skill and stagecraft. Despite the gender barriers of the time, she built a strong following, drawing crowds to her performances at prominent venues.

She died at the age of 28.
